Awol Studios Open Evening
Friday 4th Oct | 6-9pm
Join us and celebrate the 200th birthday of our home, Grade II* listed ‘Hope Mill’, at the 17th AWOL Studios Open Evening.
This is a unique chance for you to come and explore one of the largest creative studios in the North West. We have 4 floors of studios and workshops, home to over 120 artistic, creative individuals and small businesses.
Whether you’re looking to meet, socialise, commission or buy original artwork, our residents work across a range of disciplines. From fine art, photography and textiles, to print, film and much more – you can find it all behind the doors of AWOL studios.
Along side the AWOL Open Studios there will be a group residents exhibition including work from the newly formed ‘AWOL Collective’. Plus an independent exhibition hosted by curator Claire Turner of Comme Ca Art on the 5th floor of the Mill. Our neighbours Hope Mill Theatre will also be opening their doors for a sneak Peek for visitors and an exhibition of fascinating insight of our Hope Mill’s 200 year history.
All welcome, free entry for all, no RSVP needed. See you there!!
