I’m a self-taught artist from Manchester who began painting during lockdown. While I enjoy painting portraits, my main focus is The Bluemans, a collection inspired by my love of storytelling and fiction. These works aim to enchant viewers and convey narratives through symbolic imagery. Influenced by archetypes, symbolism, myth, folklore and fairy tales, I strive to evoke the timeless storytelling of a past when paintings conveyed meaning to those who were illiterate, connecting us to the magic of visual storytelling.
