Jenny‑BM

Jenny‑BM is a mixed‑media artist and designer whose work blends neo‑expressionism, collage, and digital experimentation into bold, emotionally charged visual narratives. Born in Kinshasa, DRC and raised in West London, she now creates from her studio in Manchester, where she continues to expand her multidisciplinary practice.

Her work explores themes of love, nostalgia, culture, spirituality, and identity, often weaving together layered textures, vibrant colour, and symbolic references to the Heart and Sacral chakras. Jenny draws inspiration from artists such as Jean‑Michel Basquiat, Paula Rego, and the collage pioneers Hannah Höch, John Heartfield, and Romare Bearden, whose influence can be felt in her rhythmic compositions and editorial-style mixed media.

Jenny’s creative journey includes exhibitions across the UK and internationally, including a group show in Amsterdam, as well as a solo exhibition in London. In 2025, she showcased and sold prints and merchandise with Bow Arts, further establishing her presence within the contemporary art community.

Alongside her studio practice, Jenny is the founder of Death By Colours, an artwear brand transforming her expressive visual language into wearable pieces that celebrate individuality and creative freedom.
